Family Egg Dyeing: Natural Dyes

Thursday, April 9, 2020, 6:30-8:30pm

Try several easy and fun egg-dyeing techniques, including using recycled silk neckties, rubber bands, and even cracked eggs. You will create beautifully dyed eggs, play some egg games, and try the “Who Lays Eggs?” scavenger hunt. Each person should:
  • Bring 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • Bring 2 UN-cooked eggs
  • Bring an egg carton for drying & transporting eggs
  • Bring an old, 100% silk necktie or scarf if you have one (we will provide some as well) and
  • Wear old clothing – these dyes are permanent!

Age 6+ yrs (adult supervision required.)
