The Roseville Human Rights Commission (HRC) wants to recognize and celebrate unsung heroes for efforts that promote dignity and protect the human rights of all. It has established a Human Rights Award and is seeking nominations.
Every community has groups or individuals who work to build an atmosphere that promotes fair and equal treatment for all. Often, their special efforts go unrecognized outside their circle of friends, co-workers, or neighbors. Who are the unsung heroes of Roseville?
The HRC is seeking nominations of Roseville residents or those working on behalf of Roseville residents who have demonstrated meritorious service in the pursuit and advocacy of human rights. Eligibility is open to individuals, businesses, nonprofit public organizations, or other groups that are part of or serve the Roseville community.
Anyone can nominate a person or group for consideration. Additional information and nomination forms are available at www.cityofroseville.com/humanrights or 651-792-7026. Deadline to nominate someone for the award is September 9.
