The City Council has scheduled a preliminary hearing on the 2017 budget and is seeking input from residents. The hearing will take place at Roseville City Hall during the Monday, August 22 City Council meeting.
The hearing will include a public comment period during which residents will be encouraged to share their thoughts.
The City Council will be working from the City Manager’s recommended budget, which was presented at the July 18 meeting. Links to the recommended budget and video of the presentation are available at www.cityofroseville.com/budgetinformation.
Residents who are interested in providing input but who are unable to attend the meeting may alternatively provide feedback to the City Council by completing the online budget feedback form at www.cityofroseville.com/budgetfeedback or by calling 651-792-7001.
Key upcoming City Council meetings also include the adoption of the preliminary budget and tax levy (also known as the not-to-exceed levy) on Sept. 12, and the final budget hearing on Nov. 28 before the vote on adoption of the 2017 budget on Dec. 5.
