Celebrate Earth Day. Join us at Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) on Saturday, April 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day that celebrates our planet.
Activities include music, parade, crafts and tours. Participants can help plant a tree and butterfly-friendly plants and enjoy a piece of Earth Day birthday cake.
The Earth Day celebration is sponsored by Half Price Books and Kinderberry Hill. This will be a zero waste event. Volunteers from Eureka Recycling and the City of Roseville will assist with recycling and answer questions about recycling.
The first 100 guests (one per family) will receive a Chinook Book, thanks to a donation from Music Go Round. Chinook Books have local coupons that promote environmental stewardship. Additionally, we’ll give away tree seedlings and garden seeds, while supplies last. Visitors can also enter a drawing for a variety of prizes.
Harriet Alexander Nature Center is located at 2520 N. Dale Street in Roseville. For more information visit www.cityofroseville.com/HANC or call 651-765-HANC (4262).
