[ARCHIVED] COVID 19 Closures and Cancellations

Programs and facilities, including Parks and Recreation programs, facilities and organized activities, will be closed and canceled until May 3. Trails and open space remain open for use while utilizing social distancing.

UPDATE: April 1

Roseville Parks and Recreation is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our participants, staff and community as a whole. Although we are anxious to get back to offering high quality parks and recreation programs and services, based on Governor Walz’s executive order and guidance of health officials, we have made the following adjustments to our operations.

  • At this time all recreation programs have been canceled until at least Sunday, May 3.
  • All recreational facilities including the Roseville Skating Center, Harriet Alexander Nature Center, Cedarholm Community Building, Park Buildings and Picnic Shelters are closed until at least Sunday, May 3.
  • Park trails and open spaces remain open for use while exercising social distancing. Public restrooms, playgrounds and other areas at risk for disease transmission within the parks are closed.
  • Cedarholm Golf Course will open in a limited capacity beginning Saturday, April 18. Click here for more information

Following additional guidance, facilities, events and activities may be closed, canceled or adjusted beyond May 3. We will update the status of facilities and programs during this period as new information becomes available.

Program supervisors will be contacting participants directly regarding schedule adjustments or refunds once the duration of the closure is understood.

This is a dynamic situation that we are closely monitoring, analyzing and adjusting to.  We encourage you to check cityofroseville.com/parks for updates.

Throughout the closure, we will be providing some activity ideas via our Facebook page as part of our “At Home with Roseville Parks and Recreation” campaign.
