Run for the Roses: Run, Roll or Volunteer!

run-for-roses-june-25

We are looking forward to another fantastic race this summer with runners and walkers navigating their way through the streets and park trails of our beautiful Roseville community. This year’s event will be on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 7:55 a.m.

The 2022 Run for the Roses- 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run is almost here! This outstanding community event would not be possible without the support of tremendous volunteers.

This year we are actively seeking volunteers in the following areas:

  • Registration Volunteers: Volunteers are needed on Friday, June 24 to help register race participants at the John Rose OVAL. Three hour shifts are available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Race Marshals: Volunteers who help keep racers on course and the race course clear of cars and/or pedestrians.
  • Water Stop Volunteers: Keep water cups full of water, hand them to runners and clean up “tossed” cups near your stand.

In addition to the joy of contributing to this beloved community event and getting active in the community, all volunteers will receive a race tee shirt.

Volunteer shifts on Saturday, June 25 run from roughly 7:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

To sign up to volunteer, please contact Rachel Boggs at Rachel.Boggs@cityofroseville.com or (651) 792-7028. We hope to see you on the course next month!
