Roseville Parks and Recreation Extends Closures

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to help slow the spread of Coronavirus, Roseville Parks and Recreation has announced an extension of postponements, cancellations and closures through Sunday, June 7, 2020.

The postponements and cancellations include all in-person Parks and Recreation programming. Programs slated to begin in May have been postponed when possible, or cancelled. More information regarding June and July programs will be available in mid-May.

All recreational facilities, including the Roseville Skating Center, the Harriett Alexander Nature Center (HANC), park buildings, picnic shelters and athletic fields will to remain closed during this period. Should the State of Minnesota elect to begin permitting small gatherings, select facilities may reopen with social distancing restrictions in place.

Playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts will also remain closed. Parks and trails, the Cedarholm Golf Course, the disc golf course at Acorn Park, and tennis courts are remain open for use with social distancing at this time.

Parks and Recreation staff will continue to implement virtual opportunities when possible and is working to develop appropriate programming as more guidance becomes available. 

The Parks and Recreation Department will continue to monitor the situation and will update closures and social distancing recommendations based upon additional guidance.
