Drop off Ballots

Interest in voting by mail is at an all-time high, but so is concern that vote-by-mail ballots may not be returned in time to be counted for the November 3 General Election.
Ramsey County encourages anyone who wants to vote through the mail to request an absentee ballot at soon as possible. Ramsey County voters can apply for an absentee ballot online at mnvotes.org or call 651-266-2171 to have an application sent to you. Ballots may not be dropped off at Roseville City Hall. Read more

Leaf Disposal Options

Why should you rake your leaves? It’s a simple answer: to protect the environment. Leaves decompose and restock the soil with nutrients and organic matter. But when the leaves land on the street or sidewalk the decomposing bits wash down the street and into the storm drain. They go directly into lakes and rivers where nutrients feed unwanted algae growth. Check out our recommended disposal options for helping keep leaves out of Roseville's ponds, lakes and streams. Read more

Already, 52 tons of food scraps and other organic materials – materials that would have otherwise gone into the trash – have been collected for composting. The site is located at the Leaf Recycling Center, 2580 Dale St., Roseville. It is open 24/7 to all Ramsey County residents. Recycling food scraps returns essential nutrients to the soil and improves soil health. Read more
