Flower Power Planting is this Weekend

Join Roseville’s Flower Power team on Saturday, May 22 between 9:00 a.m. and noon and help us bring a burst of color to the boulevard along Lexington Ave. at Central Park. The boulevard will be divided and volunteers will be assigned plots that are spaced apart to ensure adequate social distancing. Mask Mandate Lifted

Mask Mandate Lifted

Governor Tim Walz signed an executive order effective Friday, May 14, 2021 ending Minnesota’s statewide face covering mandate based on new guidance announced by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As a result of the Governor’s order, residents visiting City of Roseville facilities are no longer required to wear face coverings. Roseville Parks and Recreation, however, will continue to require face coverings for all city-run indoor youth programs. Read more

Spring is often the kickoff to home repair season. Before hiring someone to do home repairs or landscaping projects, the City of Roseville encourages you to do your due diligence. Start by asking friends or neighbors to recommend companies or individuals. Check references, and check with the Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been filed against the person or company. The City of Roseville requires the following businesses to be licensed. Read more

Smashed mailboxes, graffiti, scratched cars, dumped over trash cans and worse. Roseville Police are reporting an increase in vandalism in the past year. Not only is it a nuisance, it can be a costly mess to clean up. Property owners express frustration over damage to their property. They have few ways to prevent acts of vandalism, and it can be costly to repair or remove. Often, acts of vandalism are done at night or early morning hours.

Farmers Market Opens

The Saint Paul Farmers Market in Roseville is waiting for you. The market, located at 2131 Fairview Ave., is open Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The Farmers Market offers vegetables, fruits and more at peak freshness. Shopping at the Farmers Market supports local growers and the local economy. The Farmers Market has taken measures to keep customers, vendors and foods safe. Market staff will wear masks, and vendors will wear masks if serving food or preparing samples. Read more

Volunteer and get your hands dirty. The City of Roseville is looking for some green thumbs. Even if your thumb isn’t so green, you can help. Roseville is seeking big-hearted volunteers to plant, weed, mulch, water and more at Roseville's arboretum and orchard. Whether you can donate an hour or are looking for an ongoing opportunity, we’ll find something for you. Volunteers can work alongside staff on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to noon, or independently evening or weekends. Read more
