Watering Restrictions in Roseville

With drought conditions persisting in Minnesota, the City of Roseville is encouraging residents and businesses to follow water conservation efforts consistent with those enacted by Saint Paul Regional Water Services. The City of Roseville, and many surrounding communities, receives its water from Saint Paul Regional Water Services (SPRWS). On Tuesday, SPRWS announced water conservation measures that include odd/even watering schedules and time restrictions. Read more

Expanding Housing Types

The Roseville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during its Wednesday, August 4 meeting to consider expanding the types of housing permitted by city code in low-density residential zoning districts. The hearing is being held to get community input on the proposed zoning code change. It is a key step in Roseville’s Zoning Code update project, which is working to bring the zoning regulations into alignment with the city’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan. Read more

Park Name Change

Commission Considers Park Name

The Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission is continuing the conversation about the name of Pocahontas Park after several residents asked whether the name was offensive to the Native American community. The Parks and Recreation Commission, using the Government Alliance on Race and Equity (GARE) Racial Equity Toolkit, has been gathering input about the topic. The Commission has reached out to members of local Native American communities. Read more

Roadwork Ahead

The City of Roseville wants residents to know that signal work at the intersection of Lydia Ave. and Snelling Ave. is scheduled for July 26 through August 6. Lydia Ave. will be closed at the intersection with the exception of northbound traffic on Snelling Ave. Drivers will be able to turn right onto eastbound Lydia Ave. Traffic will be detoured via Lincoln Dr., County Road C2 and East Snelling Dr. Drivers are asked to use caution when driving in the area and follow detour signs. Read more

Citywide Garage Sale

Roseville’s Citywide Garage Sale

Roseville will help make your garage sale a little easier. Join us as the city sponsors a garage sale extravaganza that will help bring customers to your door September 9 through September 11. For $10, Roseville Parks and Recreation staff will include your address on a list and map of garage sales that will take place in Roseville that weekend. Sales can start after 8:00 a.m. and must be completed by 6:00 p.m. each day. Participants can hold sales on one, two or all three days. Read more

Roseville Police encourage you to join neighborhoods across the nation on August 3 to celebrate Night to Unite. It’s a time for neighbors to gather, get to know each other, enjoy some of your favorite foods and sample something new, and it’s a time to show support for crime prevention and community safety. Beat the Heat

Beat the Heat

Don’t let the 90 degree temps stop your exercise routine; head over the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive. Enjoy temperatures hovering around 55º and take a free run or walk around the Indoor Arena track. Seven times around makes a mile. If walking is not your thing, grab a pair of skates and take a spin on the ice. The track is open daily, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Read more

Free Screening of The Mighty Ducks

Roseville Parks and Recreation and the Roseville Area Hockey Association invite you to a special screening of everyone’s favorite hockey movie, The Mighty Ducks. Join them on Monday, July 26 for an evening of free family fun. The fun begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Roseville OVAL, 2661 Civic Center Drive.
