Chief’s Message
A big thanks to so many of you that came out to our Friday’s with Firefighters events this summer. We had such a huge turnout and community support for these three events, we can’t wait to get them on the calendar for 2024. It means a lot to have kids and kids at heart visit our fire station to have some fun with the firefighters, eat some junk food, and use the fire station as a playground. A special thanks to our partners this summer for Friday’s with Firefighters:
Roseville Police Department, Ramsey County Emergency Communications, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Allina Medical Transportation
It is a little over a month away, but we are hosting our annual Open House on Saturday, October 14th from 10AM-Noon. While similar to Friday’s with Firefighters, this event will focus more on firefighters performing demonstrations, self-guided tours of the fire station, and fire prevention and education.
Help firefighters get to you faster. In an emergency every second counts and we need to be able to know as best as possible the address we are going to. Please make sure that we can see your address from the street day or night. House address numbers should be at least four inches tall. If your home is set back, affix numbers on your mailbox or a post or rock that is close to the street. It’s always helpful to have an exterior light shine on the numbers as well, if an exterior light is not an option reflective numbers can also be effective.
