Pigs and Goats?

The Roseville City Council is requesting feedback regarding a potential update to the City Code that would allow potbellied pigs and pigmy goats to be kept as pets by city residents. Roseville’s City Code currently allows keeping traditional pets such as cats and dogs with certain licensing restrictions. Summer Employment Opportunities

It’s not too early to think about a summer job. Roseville Parks and Recreation will soon be hiring people to work with summer youth programs. Qualifications include enthusiasm, punctuality, reliability and creativity. Positions include puppet wagon performers, camp staff, sports coaches, recreation coordinators and program leaders. Hands-Only CPR Class

Roseville firefighters are offering free, hands-only cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) classes each month. This month class will be on January 17. Classes meet at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave. North. Firefighters teach an easy-to-learn two-step, hands-only CPR process. Hands-Only CPR is CPR without mouth-to-mouth breaths. It is recommended for use by anyone who sees a person collapse suddenly. It can be used temporarily until professional help arrives. Read more

Living Safely at Home

The Roseville Fire and Police Departments will demonstrate new tools for interacting with and tracking people with dementia on Thursday, January 11 at the Ramsey County Library in Roseville. The presentation will kick off Roseville Alzheimer’s and Dementia Community Action Team’s (RSVL A/D) 2018 Dementia: Caring & Coping series. Fire?ghters will discuss strategies for keeping everyone safe while living at home as well as the innovative health-related programs. Read more

City Offices Closed MLK Day

Roseville City offices, including the License and Passport Center, will be closed on Monday, January 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Roseville Police and Fire will remain on duty. Garbage and recycling services will not be affected by the holiday. Read more
