The Roseville Fire Department was started in 1944 with a handful of volunteers and a few pieces of equipment. Today, the Roseville Fire Department consists of 55 members and a modern fleet of firefighting apparatus. Full-time staff include the Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Fire Marshal, Fire Inspector, Shift Supervisor and two firefighter/EMTs. All other firefighters are part-time or "paid per call."
The Roseville Fire Department now responds to all medical calls in the city. For the year 2007, we are projected to answer over 4,000 fire and medical calls.
