There is no municipally administered garbage collection service in Roseville. Residents are free to select from any garbage hauler licensed to provide residential service in the city. The city is divided into zones. Solid waste and recycling pick up occur on the same day each week. Here is a map of the zones.
Roll-off and dumpster providers are licensed as commercial garbage service.
Weekly recycling service is provided by Eureka Recycling
Clean Up Day
Additionally on the last Saturday of April each year the City organizes a Clean Up Day where residents may dispose of non-hazardous materials that cannot be placed in your regular trash.
Household Hazardous Waste
Old paint, fluorescent bulbs, unused pesticides are among the items accepted through Ramsey County's Household Hazardous Waste program. There is a year-round disposal site as well as seasonal sites in various cities including Roseville and a year-round waste oil drop off facility. Residents are welcome to use any of the sites. They do not accept TVs and computers. Visit our E-Waste page for more information.
Yard Waste and Brush
Yard waste and brush are banned from landfill disposal in Minnesota. Ramsey County provides free yard waste and brush disposal sites for residents. Roseville operates a leaf recycling center that is open in the spring and fall for disposal of leaves only. The site is not big enough to handle yard waste and brush, so please take those to a Ramsey County site.
