Animal Control
The police department's Community Service Officers (CSO's) are responsible for animal control in the City.

Animal complaints and concerns should be directed to 651-767-0640.

Domestic animals need to be leashed; however, if a licensed animal is at large, the CSO's will make every effort to contact the owner.  Unlicensed animals will be taken to Brighton Vet Clinic (651-636-1063) where they will be kept for a minimum of five days at the owner's expense.

For your convenience, the CSO's also have wild animal live traps available for residents to use.  For more information, please call 651-792-7238.  You may also download a Live Trap Request Form.

For reference, view the City Code regarding Animal Control.
