Tuesday, August 2, 2011Night to Unite

Roseville Night to Unite is an evening when neighbors throughout the city, state, and country gather to get to know one another and promote Community Safety.

 

Goals:

1.      Heighten crime, drug and violence prevention
awareness;

2.      Generate support for, and participation in, local
anticrime programs;

3.      Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;

4.      Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.


How to Register:

Register Online or download a PDF version, fill it out, and drop-off, mail or fax it (651-792-7200) to City Hall. The first 25 registrations will receive a picnic gift bag courtesy of Target.

Mark Your Calendars

 

July 15
Once you register your party with the City, call Eureka Recycling at 651-222-7678 for a free compost bin to give away at your event. Please call by July 15.

July 20
Register by Wednesday, July 20, and your name will be placed in a drawing to have Outback Steakhouse cater your event on August 2. Winners will be notified July 21.

July 25-29
Barricade tape available for pick up at the Police Department (8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.)

August 1
Family Night Out in Central Park from 5-8 pm features children’s activities including inflatable rides, face painting, and animal petting zoo. Roseville Police will give a K-9 demo, and Police, Fire, and Allina will have vehicles for demos.

August 2

Night to Unite events will take place throughout the City of Roseville. Police and Fire will stop by neighborhood block parties, backyard get-togethers, ice cream socials and other events.

On August 2, stop by Chili's in Roseville to pick up free ice tea for your gathering. Must show a copy of your completed registration form.
