Arboretum Green Team
Join the team of volunteers who ensure that the public gardens are picture-perfect and continue to spark community pride.
Join us each Wednesday as your schedule permits throughout the season. Come as an individual or bring your own team of friends, co-workers, or family members.
This is a gratifying way to spend some time outdoors with a FUN group of fellow flower fans. Previous gardening experience is not required!
Volunteers plant, water, rake, weed, and do other tasks, as needed. If you can’t meet at this time and want to volunteer anyway, we’ll work with your schedule.

About the Arboretum
The 8-acre Arboretum, located at 2525 North Dale Street in Central Park, is home to a variety of plants, shrubs, and trees including hostas, lilacs, shrub roses, dogwoods, viburnum shrubs, prairie grasses, and hardwoods.
