2023 Proposed Pathway Improvements
New Pathway Segments
The following pathway segments are proposed to be constructed in 2022:
- Tamarack Park, from Western Avenue’s cul-de-sac to Tamarack Park’s playground (2024)
- Construction of a new path within the existing public right-of-way into the park.
- Wagner Street, between Wagner Street and Western Avenue cul-de-sacs (2024)
- Construction of a new path within the existing pathway easement.
- Lexington Avenue, from Hwy 36 north ramps to County Road B2 (2023)
- Construction of a new path on the east side of Lexington Avenue.
- Cleveland Avenue, from Iona Lane to 600 feet north (2023)
- Construction of a new path on the east side of Cleveland. This segment fills a gap to create a path between Hwy 36 and County Road D.
- Lexington Avenue, from County Road B to Hwy 36 (2024)
- Construction of a new path on the east side of Lexington Avenue.
- Twin Lakes Trail - Phase 2, from Terrace Drive to Oasis Park and Lincoln Drive (2024)
- Extend the existing path from Terrace Avenue northwest to Oasis Park and northeast to Lincoln Drive.
- West Owasso Blvd from Victoria Street to the city limit (2024)
- Resurface existing pathway on the west side of West Owasso Blvd.
- Hamline Avenue, from County Road C to Josephine Road (2025)
- Construction of a new path on one side of Hamline Avenue.

- County Road B, from Cleveland Av to Fairview Ave (2023)
- Lexington Park Pathways (2023)
- Marion Street, from Larpenteur Ave to 900 feet north (2023)
- Fairview Avenue, between the Hwy 36 ramps (MnDOT 2023)
- Lexington Avenue, from Woodhill Dr to 500 feet north (2022?)
- Harriet Alexander Nature Center, from Dale Street to County Road B2 (2022)
- Larpenteur Avenue, from Galtier Street to Rice Street (2022)
Pathway Master Plan
The Pathway Master Plan provides guidelines for the development of the community's pathway network. This plan was first adopted by the City Council in 1997 and the most recent update was approved by City Council on October 11, 2021. The Pathway Master Plan is adopted by reference in the City's Comprehensive Plan and serves as a planning tool to assist the City on decisions regarding pathway issues.
