While the most recognized part of the Comprehensive Plan is its land use plan, the plan also includes goals, objectives, and strategies that direct actions related to housing, economic development, transportation, parks, trails, open space, environmental protection, and utilities. To meet state law and to ensure that the Comprehensive Plan is reflective of the community’s vision and current trends, the Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10 years.
