SNAG (Starting New At Golf)

 

New programs offered for 4-8 year-olds, each session runs for 5 weeks. "SNAGsters" are taught golf fundamentals using the Starting New AGolf (SNAG) program. Putting, chipping, pitching and full shots work with this adapted equipment developed with a youngster's height and small hands in mind, creating a fun learning and playing experience. All equipment is provided. Space is limited in each program. Sessions take place at the Acorn Park Baseball Fields.

Youth Golf Mini-Clinic

Learn the fundamentals of golf. Work on grip, stance swing and putting. Four 1-hour sessions, first three sessions at Acorn Park - County Road C between Dale & Rice Street, fourth session at the U of M Driving Range. Limited to eight golfers. Clubs available upon request. If you have clubs, bring them.

Youth Golf League


 This league is open to boys and girls ages 9 -15! League play is on Mondays for 7 weeks from June 12 - August 7. Continued this year is a girls-only block of tee times from 11:00a-12pm each Monday! Mixed boys & girls tee times run from 12:00-3:00pm. Different events with prizes are played each week. Scramble tournament played on the last day of the league, August 10, with root beer floats to follow the round. The fee is $99, which includes registration fee, clinic, green fees for nine weeks, taxes, league keepsake, weekly prizes and root beer floats on the last day of league.

Online Basics/Etiquette Clinic for Youth League Members, Beginning June 1st


Due to construction of the new putting green, the online basics/etiquette clinic will supplement the traditional on-course clinic held in the past. This short video will go over golf basics and provide tips to help golfers get through their round efficiently. Clinic will be available on this page beginning June 1st.

Need Clubs?


To encourage kids to play golf who don't own their own set of clubs, a limited number of rental clubs are available to youth league members thanks to the Roseville Senior League! Complimentary club usage is available during youth league only. Please contact the clubhouse manager to reserve a set.
