The police department is accepting applications for its 2010 Police Citizens' Academy. Learn more about and interact with your police department.
Learn basic police work including traffic stops, accident reconstruction, hostage negotiations and other police tactics. Classes meet from 6:00 to 9:30 pm on Wednesday evenings from March 3 to April 21.
Participants attend presentations, tour facilities and role-play certain situations. Classes are free. Participants must be 18 years or older.
