[ARCHIVED] Get your Fishing License

We’re about a week away from the fishing opener. Time to get your license. Roseville offers a convenient location to get your fishing license.

Fishing license prices vary depending upon which kind of license needed. The most frequent licenses include a $23 standard individual resident license for adults ages 18 to 90 years; individual resident sportsman license for $39; or resident married couple fishing license for $36.

Anyone 16 years and older needs a license to fish in Minnesota. Bring your driver’s license or State ID to get a license. Fishermen and women are encouraged to review the 2014 Minnesota fishing regulations at files.dnr.state.mn.us/rlp/regulations/fishing/fishing2014.pdf or pick up a free copy at the Roseville License Center.

The License Center is located at 2737 N. Lexington Ave. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Services include motor vehicle registration, driver’s license renewals and address changes, boat, snowmobile, off-road vehicle and trailer licenses, and hunting and fishing licenses.
