Hey, kids, ages 6 to 14, Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to spend February 8 on ice and compete in an Ice Fishing Contest on Lake Johanna. Reel in some ice cold fish from under the ice!
We’ll have the holes drilled and the bait waiting for you at Lake Johanna Beach, 3500 Lake Johanna Blvd, Arden Hills. Trophies and prizes for the biggest fish, most fish and smallest fish will be given. Take your chance on drawings for gift packs. Guides will be on hand to answer questions and help children catch fish. Parents are encouraged to spend the day with their children.
Please dress warmly and have waterproof boots. Bring ice fishing equipment if you have it. A limited number of rods and reels will be available. Cost is $22 per child. Fishing begins at 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. Call 651-792-7110 to register.
