Wherever you live, you can make a real difference in the health of our waters. Become a master water steward. The program certifies people in installing and educating residents on stormwater projects.
Participants in the Master Water Steward program receive training in hydrology, stormwater, environmental decision making, and other topics.
The program is a partnership between the Freshwater Society and participating cities, non-profits, and watershed management organizations, including the Capitol Region Watershed District, Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District, and the Rice Creek Watershed Districts.
Contact Deirdre Coleman, Program Coordinator for Freshwater Society, at dcoleman@freshwater.org or 651-313-5806 if you are interested in learning more. Deadline to register for this session is September 30.
