Join us for a free, healthy aging forum designed to empower older adults to thrive in their community. The forum will be held on Thursday, October 18 at the Fairview Community Center. Participants will get takeaways that can be used in their daily lives.
Local experts will provide information in fun and interactive presentations. Topics include fire and fall prevention, heart health, brain health, diabetes self-care, fraud and scam prevention and more.
Food and refreshments will be served throughout the event. Blood pressure checks will be available, and there will be a drawing for a raffle prize after the final session.
A shredding truck will be in the Fairview Community Center parking lot from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. to provide free, secure document shredding and disposal. Participants are encouraged to bring any documents with personal information.
