The City of Roseville’s emergency management team has decided not to extend the 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. city-wide curfew put in place for Monday and Tuesday nights.
The city thanks residents for taking the curfew seriously and helping emergency responders keep our community safe.
Though Roseville Police experienced steady call volume late last week and into the weekend, the levels of calls for service have reached the point where public safety officials are comfortable lifting the curfew.
Calls for service for Roseville Fire have been at normal levels throughout the curfew period.
The need for any future curfews will be considered by the city on a day-by-day basis.
On Monday, June 1, the Roseville City Council adopted a resolution enacting a period of local emergency through June 8. Under the resolution, the city’s “Emergency Manager may declare additional curfew periods during the period of the local emergency.”
Roseville Police and Fire will remain in a state of readiness through the City Council’s declared period of local emergency that expires on Monday, June 8 to ensure that the city continues to have adequate emergency coverage to meet the needs of residents.
