Visit Roseville has commissioned 20 Minnesota artists to create unique, rose statues that show the best of Roseville. The rose statues, will be on display at outdoor public spaces in Roseville through October.
We encourage everyone to get out and explore Roseville. The 6-foot tall roses are located in local parks and area businesses.
One of the goals for the project was to highlight artists whose work represents Minnesota’s cultural diversity. Artist Shakun Maheshwari’s rose is located McCarrons Lake for the Rice & Larpenteur Alliance, with a theme of “Color and Culture.” Artist Kao Lee Thao’s a “Hmong Story Cloth” rose, is displayed at Doubletree by Hilton Roseville Minneapolis hotel.
Roseville Artist Cora Hays highlighted the importance of education for all kids with a rose titled “The Value of Education” that is on display at the Kids in Need Foundation, which provides school supplies to children in need and their teachers throughout the U.S.
Visit Roseville is planning free public activities to celebrate the rose displays. To maintain proper social distancing, some events will be done virtually.
