Interest in voting by mail is at an all-time high, but so is concern that vote-by-mail ballots may not be returned in time to be counted for the November 3 General Election.
Ramsey County encourages anyone who wants to vote through the mail to request an absentee ballot at soon as possible. Ramsey County voters can apply for an absentee ballot online at mnvotes.org or by calling 651-266-2171 to have an application sent to you. Once a signed application is received by the county, a ballot will be mailed.
Ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and returned to Ramsey County by November 10 to be counted. Voters who are concerned about making the deadline can drop ballots at any of the early voting locations. Please note that ballots may not be dropped off at Roseville City Hall.
- Ballots for Ramsey County voters may be returned in person at any of the locations regardless of home address. Locations will be open through November 2. Visit www.rcelections.org for times and locations.
- Return ballots inside the building where an official will verify that the voter information is complete.
- Ballots may be returned using curbside (drive-up) service at the Ramsey County Elections Office, New Brighton Community Center, and Ramsey County Library - Roseville location. Call the number listed on the sign when you arrive and someone will meet you at your vehicle to assist you.
- Do not place ballots in any county or city document drop boxes or payment boxes.
