In the most unusual year, the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department is tentatively planning to open the Guidant John Rose Minnesota OVAL on Friday, November 20.
Because of the recent increase in COVID cases, the city is continuing to monitor and follow guidance from the Minnesota Department of Health in regards to a safe opening. Please visit SkatetheOVAL.com or call 651-792-7191 to get the latest information about when the OVAL will open.
The city follows health guidelines established by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health to keep guests and employees safe. Guests are expected to practice social distancing and to wear masks when entering and leaving the facility. As of now, public skating sessions will be limited to 100 skaters per session. Tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific skating session. Tickets will be available to purchase online at the SkatetheOVAL.com website once the OVAL opens for the season.
Skaters at evening, weekend and holiday sessions will not have access to inside warming areas; only the restroom will be available. Admission is $7.00. A limited number of skates are available to rent for $5.00. The Roseville Skating Center is located at 2661 Civic Center Drive.
