Interest in pickleball has grown in recent years, and so has the demand for courts. The City of Roseville is considering a proposal to turn the tennis courts at Evergreen Park into six permanent pickleball courts.
Currently, the courts are available for pickleball for half of the time and for tennis for the other half of the time.
As part of the proposal, the city would work with the Roseville Area School District to restore the Fairview Community Center tennis courts to meet the tennis need in southwest Roseville.
The City of Roseville is looking for feedback on the proposed changes. Visit www.cityofroseville.com/pickleball for additional information.
