The City Council voted during its Monday, January 31 meeting to require the use of face coverings in City of Roseville facilities.
The rule will remain in place until March 1.
To be in compliance, residents and visitors to City of Roseville facilities must wear a face covering that covers the mouth and nose while conducting activities in City facilities. These activities include tending to business in City Hall, attending Council and Commission meetings, visiting the OVAL and Skating Center, Cedarholm Golf Course, the Harriet Alexander Nature Center, the City of Roseville License and Passport Center, and all park buildings.
Exemptions include children under the age of five years old and Individuals unable to wear a face covering due to medical, disability, or developmental reasons.
The City of Roseville still strongly encourages people to wear masks while visiting places of public accommodation, in order to minimize the spread of infectious disease. More information about the use of face coverings is available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
