We are studying ideas for improving Hwy 36 in Roseville, Little Canada, and Maplewood in the coming 10-20 years.
In 2023, we asked the community what is needed for the future of Hwy 36. We heard from more than 1,700 people who shared more than 5,000 comments. People said the primary future needs are safety, mobility (reducing congestion and travel times), and improved walking and biking facilities (sidewalks and bike lanes) for people crossing the highway.
The team has developed ideas for improvements that respond to these needs. Now, we want your input on these ideas for the future of Hwy 36!
Upcoming public meetings
Join us for a public meeting to review the ideas for improvements and share your feedback with the study team. There is no formal presentation for the in-person meeting on March 2, so attendees can arrive and leave at any time. The virtual meeting on March 7 will include a presentation, facilitated discussion and a question-and-answer session. Information about upcoming construction on Hwy 36 between I-35W and Edgerton St. this year will also be available at these meetings.
