Learn how to make spectacular dyed eggs using environmentally friendly natural egg dyes. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to its Egg Dyeing: Natural Dyes and Ukrainian Style class on Thursday, March 24.
The event for kids ages six and up accompanied by an adult runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 North Dale St.
You’ll learn easy ways to create patterns on your eggs using environmentally friendly egg dyes, and you’ll learn the traditional Ukrainian way of making beautiful, keepsake eggs. Participants will get a chance to take the “Who Lays Eggs?” scavenger hunt and other fun and games.
Cost is $7.00 per participant. Bring four hard-boiled eggs and two raw eggs per person and an egg carton to dry and transfer your eggs. Dress in clothes that could get dyed. Register at www.cityofroseville.com/parks or call 651-792-7110.
