In 1920, women earned the right to vote in the United States. Celebrate the road to women’s suffrage and to learn about where we are today and what the future holds on August 18 at the Roseville Library.
The film fest is being hosted by the Roseville Human Rights Commission, Shoreview Human Rights Commission, League of Women Voters and Harriet G. Walker DAR chapter and begins at 7 p.m.
The event will include a short documentary on Inez Milholland, Forward Into Light, and feature speaker Mary Jo McGuire, Ramsey County Commissioner. It is free to attend, but registration is required to ensure sufficient space. Register at www.cityofroseville.com/filmfest or call 651-792-7026.
