It's have a day of free activities that celebrate foods harvested in the fall, natural history and traditional cultures of Minnesota.

A major goal of the festival is to provide education to the Roseville area community about local Native American cultures and traditions. Presentations include Little Thunderbirds Drum & Dance Troupe, performances by Bobb Fantauzzo’s “Native Roots of Jazz,” and demonstrations of traditional wild ricing methods. Gibbs Farm will offer historical vignettes and a replica tipi with representative artifacts of traditional Dakota life.

The festival features seasonal harvest activities: a beekeeper will demonstrate the honey extraction process and fill bottles with honey fresh from the hives, and volunteers will operate an apple cider press where visitors can help squeeze a cup of cider. Activities for the kids will include crafts and traditional village games.

Foods at the festival will include wild rice products and Native American foods. Pow Wow Grounds, a Native American cafe in Minneapolis, will sell a variety of foods including wild rice, Four Sisters soups, fry bread, and Indian tacos.

Tatanka Truck, winner of the 2015 Charlie Award for "Most Outstanding Food Truck," and the Finer Meats & Eats will sell foods from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
