The Roseville Human Rights Commission (HRC), along with the support of the Roseville Area Community Foundation, are proud to join Roseville Area High School (RAHS) as they present One World Under the Same Sky, on Wednesday, April 26.
One World Under the Same Sky is a free, student-led celebration of the diverse Roseville Area School community. The community celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roseville Area High School, 1240 County Road B2, Roseville.
Approximately 75 students from the American Indian Club, Karen Club, Latino Club, Nepali Club, and Peb Haiv will entertain the audience with music, dance and spoken word. That will be followed by a cultural fashion show. Audience members will then be invited to sample foods, crafts, games and traditional activities from different cultures of students who attend the high school.
This is the fifth year that the high school students have organized and promoted the One World event. The Multicultural Festival is a celebration of the diverse, underrepresented home cultures of students at Roseville Area High School. One World builds a sense of community for the students and helps them feel connected .
Students organize the program with the support of advisory staff. They coordinate the event, and provide tech support, video and marketing, music selection and other responsibilities.
