Getting a permit in Roseville will get a whole lot easier beginning next week. The City of Roseville will unveil a new online permitting and inspections system called Accela on Monday, May 8.
With an easily-created and free user account, residents and contractors can apply for permits, request inspections, and pay fees entirely online—and do so 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Users will be able to monitor the progress of projects as they are reviewed and approved by city departments. If requested, users can receive email notifications of important events like when a permit is issued or when a final inspection is completed.
The system also brings together historical permits from outdated systems into one centralized location, enabling the public to search permit history on any property going back to the mid-1990s.
