Roseville youth, make a difference - get involved in city government. The City of Roseville is seeking applications for a youth commissioner to the new Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC).
We are looking for a student who is a Roseville resident and a sophomore, junior or senior in high school. The application deadline is 4:30 p.m. on June 28.
The commission advises the City Council on programs and efforts which could improve civic engagement and human rights. Youth commissioners are non-voting members who bring the youth perspective to the commission.
The HRIEC meets the third Wednesday of most months at 6:30 p.m. Meetings are at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Youth commissioners serve a one-year term and are eligible to serve additional terms. Applications are available at www.cityofroseville.com/commapp or by calling 651-792-7001.
