Looking for an opportunity to get involved in city government? The Roseville City Council is seeking applicants for two vacancies on the Human Rights, Inclusion and Engagement Commission (HRIEC).
The HRIEC encourages full participation in the affairs of the city and advises the City Council on programs and efforts that could improve civic engagement and community relations, and human rights. It advises the City Council regarding the effective and meaningful involvement of Roseville residents in their local government, and proposes programs, events, and projects to increase understanding, engagement, and inclusion with the work of the city.
The commission meets the third Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. One vacancy is for a term that expires March 31, 2019 and one that expires in 2020. Deadline to apply is August 17. Interviews will be August 27. Log on to www.cityofroseville.com/commapp or call 651-792-7001 for an application.
