Learn what’s happening with Roseville’s two newest parks? The City of Roseville invites you to open houses on Tuesday, July 31 and Wednesday, August 1 at 6:00 p.m. to learn about plans for the two new parks.
The open house for 1716 Marion Street will be at the new park location. Construction on the new Marion Street Park will begin in August, with laying the cement and asphalt completed in September. On October 13, the city will host a volunteer playground build.
Residents are also invited to an open house to learn about plans for the new park located at the corner of Cleveland Ave. and County Road B. That open house will be at Fairview Community Center, 1910 County Road B.
Construction on the new Cleveland Ave. Park will begin in August. On September 15, the city will host a community-planting event, inviting volunteers to help plant a pollinator garden, trees and other green features. The playground will be installed in October.
A full construction schedule for both parks will be available in August at www.cityofroseville.com/parks/projects. If you have questions, please contact Parks Superintendent James Taylor at 651-792-7107.
