Chair Yoga – Get a total body workout using breath, meditation and chair postures to align your mind and body. Ideal for all age groups. Ten weeks of classes meet on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. starting September 24 or Thursdays at 1:15 p.m. starting September 27. Cost is $99 for ten sessions. Classes meet at Autumn Grove Park, 1365 Lydia Ave.
T’ai Chi Chih – A practice of gentle, meditative moves to restore harmony and balance to your life. Classes meet at RosePointe, 2555 North Hamline Ave. on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. beginning September 18 through October 30. Cost $46 regular, $38 for Roseville residents.
Wu Qin Xi – A powerful yet soothing exercise based on the Chinese qigong practice that uses movement to promote health. Meet 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Thursdays at the Lexington Park Building, 2131 Lexington Ave. beginning September 20 through November 8. Cost is $60, $52 for Roseville residents.
Ageless Grace Connection – Learn the three “Rs” of comfort and ease - Respond, React Recover. Participants learn tools to use both the left and right sides of the brain. Movements are done while seated in a chair, so almost anyone, regardless of physical condition, can participate. Meet on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. beginning September 18 through October 30. Cost $46 regular, $38 for Roseville residents. Classes meet at Autumn Grove Park, 1365 Lydia Ave.
Mindfulness Class – Learn what mindfulness is and how it impacts your life. This class teaches you to develop formal and informal ways to practice mindfulness in everyday life. Meet at 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Villa Park Building, 2055 Cohansey Blvd. beginning Saturday, September 22 to October 27. Cost is $55.
