Who wants a job where work is play? There may be snow on the ground, but it’s not too early to think about a summer job. Roseville Parks and Recreation is hiring in a wide variety of areas.
Qualifications include responsible, creative, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual employees who enjoy working with kids of all ages.
Roseville offers a variety of positions for employment throughout the summer, including recreation group leaders to work with kids at full and half-day camps, preschool programs and special events, including the puppet wagon. Responsibilities vary from setting up events to writing daily program plans and performing puppet shows. Sport coaches will help provide basic instruction for soccer, track, t-ball, kickball and/or basketball.
Pay range is from $8.50 to $12.50, depending on experience and job responsibilities. Number of hours vary depending on job. Recreation group leaders typically work between 20 and 40 hours per week while sport coaches typically work 15 to 25 hours per week.

Summer job applications are due by March 1 with interviews in mid-March. Mandatory staff training begins on Monday, June 10 with some preparation hours available for workers who can start earlier. The positions will run through the middle of August, with some extended to Labor Day.
