Roseville residents can pick up free compost and woodchips from the bins in front of Roseville’s. The city will also deliver up to six cubic yards of compost or woodchips for a delivery charge of $40 per load.
Nutrient-rich compost boosts soil and helps garden. Woodchips make a great ground cover that reduces weeding, saves water, nourishes soil and reduces the need for chemical weed killers or herbicides.
Home deliveries will be made on Fridays starting on May 10. Deliveries can be scheduled online at www.cityofroseville.com/delivery or by calling 651-792-7004.
Roseville’s Leaf Recycling Center is located on Dale St., south of County Road C.
