The City of Roseville has been recertified as a Service Enterprise organization by Points of Light, the world’s largest organization dedicated to volunteer service. Roseville was initially certified in 2016.
Roseville was the first city in the nation to earn the Service Enterprise distinction. Achieving recertification places Roseville among the top 11 percent of organizations nationwide in volunteer management and organizational performance.
Service Enterprise certification signifies that an organization has the capability and management expertise to strategically leverage volunteers to improve the performance of their organization.
To attain recertification, Roseville Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Boggs led the charge to successfully complete an extensive assessment and more than 20 hours of training and coaching. Roseville also conducted a comprehensive internal planning and change process to better integrate volunteers into its human capital strategy.
By achieving the level of excellence required to earn recertification, Roseville is better equipped to leverage the time and talent of volunteers than ever before.
