Roseville is looking for anyone interested in helping at the orchard at the Muriel Sahlin Arboretum on Wednesday mornings through October. We have a variety of chores – weeding, planting, harvesting and more.
The Arboretum is located at 2525 Dale St. North. Stop in Wednesdays between 8:00 a.m. and noon and stay for as long or as little as you like.
The orchard includes more than 100 fruit-bearing trees, shrubs, vegetables and pollinator friendly plants. It provides an opportunity for community members to learn how to grow, harvest and preserve fresh produce.
If you are interested in learning more or helping, contact Volunteer Coordinator Rachel Boggs at 651-792-7028 or rachel.boggs@cityofroseville.com. Please dress for the weather and bring garden or work gloves and a water bottle.
