Make home improvements this winter with help from the city.

Looking to score a great deal on new appliances over President's Day weekend? Be sure to buy high-efficiency labeled appliances and get a rebate on your water bill.

The City of Roseville, in partnership with the Metropolitan Council and the Clean Water Land & Legacy Amendment, is offering up to $300 off your water bill for upgrading/repairing your irrigation system (75% rebate) or replacing your toilet, clothes washer or dishwasher (50% rebate).

New water-using appliances

Existing homes are eligible for this rebate. New homes are not eligible.

The following types of equipment are eligible for 50% of the cost of the equipment and installation, up to a total of $300, which will be processed as a rebate on a future water bill:

  • Toilets – WaterSense®-labelled toilets use lower
    flows to eliminate waste and wasteful use of water. Learn more on the WaterSense website
  • Clothes Washer – ENERGY STAR-Certified clothes washers can clean with less water and less energy. Learn more on the Energy Star website 
  • Dishwasher – ENERGY STAR-Certified dishwashers can clean with less water and less energy. Learn more on the Energy Star website 
  • If you are in doubt, please contact staff to confirm your purchase would qualify.

A Photo of the installed equipment must be included with the application.

How to Apply?

After you have purchased and installed your new equipment, take a photo, fill out the form (link below) and submit to the City of Roseville with your receipt. 

Qualifying rebates will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Funding is limited, so apply soon!

Roseville residents can take advantage of loans from $10,000 to $40,000 for home improvement upgrades. The loans have no maximum income limit and do not require a down payment. Homeowners must schedule a Home Energy Squad visit prior to closing. Click here to learn more.
