Coming soon - Roseville residents will be getting new recycling carts. Roseville is moving to a single-sort recycling program. Depending on where you live, the new carts will be delivered the week of February 3 or February 10.
Beginning the week of February 17, Roseville will begin the single-sort pick up. With the increased capacity provided by the new bins, recycling will be picked up every other week under the single-sort recycling program, rather than weekly.
Eureka Recycling collects the recyclables for Roseville. In additions to changing to single-sort recycling, the city is adding new items that can be recycled. Beginning February 17, residents can start recycling yogurt, cottage cheese and butter containers, deli “to-go” containers, and produce (lettuce, berries) containers. By collecting more plastics for recycling, we keep them out of incinerators and landfills and ensure they have another life, saving energy and resources.
Eureka Recycling is distributing information about the new recycling program. Residents can get additional recycling information, including the recycling schedule, at www.cityofroseville.com/recycling or by calling 651-222-7678
