Thank you community members, service organizations and businesses for your generosity to the City of Roseville.
Roseville has received more than $150,000 of plants, trees, sporting and play equipment, park building amenities and financial donations this year. The funds will benefit the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department.
On Monday, the Roseville City Council will recognize three groups for their generosity. The Roseville Area Youth Baseball Association will be recognized for their donation to replace the batting cages at Acorn Park. Friends of Roseville Parks will be recognized for their donation to cover the cost of gas fireplaces in each of Roseville’s six new park buildings. The Friends of Lexington Park will be recognized for their donation to add a climbing rock play structure to the playground area at Lexington Park. Donations from these three groups equals more than $70,000.
In all Roseville will accept donations from 30 groups and individuals. A list of donors will be available at the City Council meeting and in the most recent City Council packet at www.cityofroseville.com/council.
