As if by magic, sap flows from a tree and turns into a luscious springtime treat. Roseville Parks and Recreation invites you to Harriet Alexander Nature Center (HANC) to learn the secret of making maple syrup.
Join us on Saturday, March 28 or Sunday, March 29 from 10:00 to 4:00 at HANC, 2520 North Dale St. Roseville. You’ll get a hands-on experience tapping trees the traditional way. Participants will hear Native American stories and taste maple treats. No charge for this family-friendly outing. Open to all ages.
The Nature Center provides protection for birds and other animal and plant life. Enjoy an escape into nature along walking trails that meander through 52 acres of marsh, prairie and forest habitats. Log on to www.cityofroseville.com/hanc or call 651-765-4262 for more information.
