April 13-17 is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota. Roseville Fire and Police ask residents and businesses to review emergency plans for taking shelter in case of severe weather.
The Minnesota Department of Public Safety promotes a better understanding of different types of severe weather and what you can do to protect yourself and your family. Log on to www.severeweather.state.mn.us to learn about weather dangers and what you can do to keep safe during different kinds of weather emergencies.
Businesses are also encouraged to review plans and ensure that employees know where to find shelter and what action to take in an emergency.
